Model making

To make the models for my ident, i first twisted aluminium wire for the back and legs and left the arms untwisted as this gives for an even slimmer arm.

I then placed heat shrink tubing over the arms and legs. This gives them a skinny look.

I next blocked plastrcine over the spine and shoulders, hiding the remaining armature and also securing the heat shrink tubbing in place.

I attached the feet and any other accesories (in this case the red underwear)

Then I sculpted a head out of oven bake clay and added acrylic eyes.
Then left to set on the oven.

Once set, I added the final touches using plastercine as a cape, hands, mouth and hair.

One this process was completed for all of my characters I was ready to animate with them, But first I had to make a set.
