Ideas for Idents

Here are a few ideas I had for Idents before I came up with my final concept.



Purple is the colour that E4 is associated with.




This idea derrived from the kool-aid advertisment campiagn in America. In it, a giant bowl of fruit comes crashing through the wall to deliver the product to children.




Here is a caricature of Einstien but instead of the theory of relativity,
it has a' theory of entertainment'
with the e and the 4 combining to make E4.



Here is another idea involving two elements of e and 4 combining but this time in battle.





This idea is baised on the famous scene from Spielberg's ET (1982)


This idea is an x-ray type view into a pregnant woman, but instead of a baby, the E4 logo forms.


This idea is of a superhero, like superman, but with E4's logo.
E4 shows 'Smallville' the adventures of a young superman, so the hero becomes relevent to the channel.




This is another Superman themed idea, yet this time with the logo itself as the hero, making the channel look superior.

Final idea.

The idea I used was of the kool-aid advert inspiration, I chose to have it set at a fancy dress party keeping with the random humour of E4, this also enabled me to keep my superhero idea in aswell.

Synopsis

People at the buffet table of slightly dull fancy dress party go about their buisness when unexpectedly, a person in a 'E4 costume' comes crashing through the wall in the fasion of the Kool-aid man. Thus livening up the party.
